The Web Application is now created. By Default, no new site collections are
created with the web application. To

To Change the Logo of Demo site
To change
any image we need to replace the existing image with the new ones in this
folder
1. Save
the desired image(Logo.gif) in the folder
C:/Program files/Common files/Microsoft Shared/Web
Server Extensions/14/Template/Images
2. Open
Top Level Site à Site ActionsàSite
Settingsà[under Look and Feel] Title Description and IconàURL :

Top Link Bar: Helps us navigate to different sub sites.
Quick Launch: It contains links of different
web pages under a website
Creating
a basic Webpage (static html page)

This launches a Rich Text editor using which we can
create our site without using any HTML tags.
Once done
click on save.

Saving
and Loading Site Templates
To Save the Top Level Site as a Template
By saving
the theme of Top Level Site as a template, we will be able to use the same for
creating the sites under the Top Level Site.
If a template is not used, we will have to re-do the theme settings
manually for the sites that we create under the Top Level Site.
